Setup static or dynamic IP for D7 and D7X Windows

Log into Windows System---Switching Between Users

  1. Please plug in the Windows-layout wired keyboard onto the PC's blue USB port (the rear, top-left port).
  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and you will see the following screen.
  3. Please click on “Sign Out”.
  4. You will be brought to the Windows lock screen.
  5. Then, please select “ZoomAdmin” as the account to log in to Windows 10.
  6. You will then see the prompt to log in to “ZoomAdmin”. Please enter the default password Zoom1234 and log in.

(Please Note: If you do not know the passwords for the “Zoom” and “ZoomAdmin” users, please refer to HERE). 

 

Setting a Static/Dynamic IP Address

  1. Once you have logged in to Windows system, then please long tap the Windows icon on the Windows screen.
  2. Select Settings -> Network & Internet -> select Wi-Fi or Ethernet depending on your network connection.
  3. Right-click on the network you want to change and click on “Properties”.
  4. On the list of “Networking” items, click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” to highlight it, then click the Properties button below the list.
  5. Configure IP:
    1. For Static: Select "Use the following IP address" and enter your specific IP, Subnet Mask, and Gateway.
    2. For Dynamic: Select "Obtain an IP address automatically".
